DisplayLink Releases v.10.0 for Windows

DisplayLink announced v.10.0 for Windows is now available.

Using this version of the software should work, but Targus has no plans to validate this release with Targus Universal Docking Stations or Targus Universal Docking Station Utilities.

This release has not been submitted for distribution on Windows Update for Targus Universal Docking Stations and Targus is not providing .MSI/.INF files for it.

New features

  • Support for Dual Super Ultrawide (5120x1440) displays

  • Available for customers using Targus DOCK180, DOCK190, DOCK310, and DOCK570.
  • Dynamic Compute Switching

  • Intelligent load balancing between CPU and GPU to ensure the best possible user experience.

  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Support

  • Issues fixed in 9.4 M0 release (9.4.3838.0/9.4.3838.0)

    • Blu-ray and DVD content does not show on DisplayLink connected displays with Windows 10 20H1 and latest Intel graphics drivers
    • Dell U3219Q DisplayPort monitor can remain blank if system is resumed after shut down, but appear in Windows display properties.
